Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on our lineup, warranty, engines, and how to buy.

The Lineup

Ten models across three fuel types — electric, diesel, and propane. Electric: FB20 (4,500 lbs) and FB25 (5,500 lbs). Diesel: FD30 (6,000 lbs), FD40 (9,000 lbs), FD50 (11,000 lbs), and FD70 (15,500 lbs). Propane: G25 (5,000 lbs), G35 (8,000 lbs), and G45 (10,000 lbs, dual fuel). Rough terrain: FD35RT4 (8,000 lbs, 4WD).

4,500 lbs on the low end (FB20 electric) up to 15,500 lbs on the heavy end (FD70 diesel). That covers standard pallet work, heavy manufacturing loads, and everything in between.

For indoor operations, the electric FB series (FB20 or FB25) produces zero emissions and runs quieter than internal combustion. If you need more capacity or faster travel speed indoors, the propane G25 is a strong option at 5,000 lbs with 11.8 mph travel speed and a tight 88" turning radius. All three run well on smooth concrete floors.

The FD35RT4 is purpose-built for it — 4WD, 10.6" ground clearance, 30% gradeability, and oversized pneumatic tires. For outdoor work on flat or graded surfaces (loading docks, lumber yards), any of the diesel FD models will handle it.

Both run Kohler diesel engines. The FD30 is the compact option — 6,000 lbs capacity, 189" triple-stage mast, and a 98" minimum aisle width. The FD40 steps up to 9,000 lbs capacity with a wider frame but uses a 2-stage mast at 118" lift height. Choose the FD30 for high-rack warehousing and the FD40 for heavier loads at lower lift heights.

Engines & Performance

Kohler diesel in the FD30, FD40, and FD35RT4. Cummins diesel in the FD50 and FD70. PSI/Kubota propane in the G25 and G35. Curtis AC electric motors in the FB20 and FB25. No proprietary or off-brand powertrains — every engine is a name you can source parts for.

All models ship with pneumatic tires standard. The FD50 and FD70 run dual pneumatics on the front axle (four tires up front) for stability under heavy loads. The FD35RT4 uses oversized all-terrain pneumatics for rough ground. Tire sizes vary by model and are listed on each model's spec sheet.

Travel speed varies by model and power type. The electric FB series runs 8.7 mph. Propane G25 and G35 range from 11.8 to 12.4 mph. Diesel FD30 tops out at 14.9 mph. The larger FD50 and FD70 both run 18.6 mph. Speed is unloaded — loaded travel is slower, as it should be.

Both the FB20 and FB25 run on a 48V battery system — 560Ah on the FB20, 630Ah on the FB25. Standard lead-acid configuration. Battery and charger are part of the purchase.
